We checked out the what would be the equivalent of a farmers market by the Edgar Quinet station and they had some pretty cool stuff! The microwave food in France is really good!!!! So is the bread and butter here!
Later we went to the Arc de Triomphe and went on a shopping trip by Hôtel de Ville! For dinner we had a free meal at La Coupole, “a classic Parisian restaurant-brasserie frequented by Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Ferdinand Leger, Josephine Baker, Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, various French and American presidents and many others.” The food was amazing! And the bread just kept refilling! It was a three course meal with bread, tea/coffee at the end and red/white wine.
