Although I’ve been in London for a week now, I haven’t had a full english breakfast. Jenann and I decided to get that for breakfast at a cafe nearby that I always point at when we walk by:
Our destinations for the day included the British Museum and the Madame Tussauds wax museum. On the way to the British Museum we stopped by Primark, a fashion retail store that is “like H&M but even cheaper” as described by one of our friends.
After being distracted by shopping (which we decided to purchase the items later so we don’t have to carry it around all day), we made it to the British Museum. This is actually my second time here and I’ve got to say something about the ceiling captivates me everytime.
We met up with Christine at Boopshi’s for lunch, where they serve Austrian food (correct me if I am wrong).
I got an order of the kaiserschmarrn, a shredded pancake dessert dish with powdered sugar and jam. After being energized, we headed off to the wax museum near the Baker Street tube stop.
I thought it was really cool that towards the end there was a 3D show of the Avengers. It was finally shopping time at Primark. It was crazy though in the store because it was getting dark and there were WAY more people in the store than the morning. I only ended up picking some scarves and going to go back another day when there’s less people.
On the way home we went to Whiteley to finally try this cup of corn in the mall. It’s a cup of corn flavored with butter and powder (depending on what flavor you want). It was really good in my opinion because it was something so simple but yet so good.
Since the boy’s are on a weekend trip to Morocco, it was a girl’s night out for dinner! We decided to be a little fancy and go to a french restaurant called Boulevard Brasserie:
